What is Surtex ?

Surtex is an yearly  event where artists and designers gather together in one space and sell or license their art or design  to manufacturers. SURTEX draws hundreds of  Artists and designers  each year from around the world to New York City. The event gives great opportunity  for Artists & designers to promote their work, sell and license their collections to manufacturers of products for homeware, ceramic, stationery, giftware, toys,  fabric, publishing, and more.

SURTEX is the only show in North America solely devoted to selling and licensing original art and design for all types of products.

Surtex’11 Days Away
Exhibitors and attendees come from different part of the globe. In addition to the United States,  There are 43 countries – among them United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Israel, Italy, France, Canada and Germany – are also represented at SURTEX.
If you get the chance to visit SURTEX next week at the Javits Center,  dont’t forget to  visit the National Stationery Show® and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair®. These shows are amazing and they are huge. Make sure you dedicate at least 2 full days to explore the 3 events.  I have been to the shows many times and  thoroughly enjoyed all the three events. Oh! Make sure you bring your comfy shoes as you will have to do a lot of walking so be prepared for the challenge.

So enjoy the show next week and  please leave us a comment if you’ve been to the show… we’d love to know what you think.Want to learn more about SURTEX, please watch the  Youtube video below.
