About the Markets

The Finders Keepers Markets are a free bi-annual event that showcases the work of emerging designers and artists from all around Australia & even New Zealand! Our first markets were held in December 2008 at CarriageWorks in Sydney. in 2009 we successfully launched our first interstate Markets in Brisbane and in 2010 we were proud to be also launching in Melbourne.
With a passion for bringing independent design to the forefront and encouraging the Australian emerging art & design scene, we’ve created markets that maintain a grass roots level however maintain to have work of high standards in both quality and innovative design.
If you have never been to a Finders Keepers event you are in for quite a treat, like no other event in Australia the markets have a festival feel with live music, cafe & bar with thousands of people celebrating independent art & design. Best of all our events will always be FREE and everyone from all walks of life are invited to join us..

Next Market Dates for 2012

Melbourne held at The Royal Exhibition Building:
Spring/Summer – Friday 19th October (evening) & Saturday 20th October
Brisbane held at The Old Museum:
Autumn/Winter – Saturday 7th July & Sunday 8th July
Spring/Summer – Saturday 3rd November & Sunday 4th November
 
Sydney held at CarriageWorks:
Autumn/Winter – Friday 1st June (evening) & Saturday 2nd June

Spring/Summer – Saturday 8th December (evening) & Sunday 9th December
