ABOUT THE SHOW
Bardo is referred to in Tibetan Budhism as occuring prior to complete death; a traditional state in which the body has passed yet the consciousness remain alive. It is the state that life is said to ‘flash before your eyes’.
We are looking forward to this spectacular show. THis is Dance Dr.’s fourth work invites you to observe one person’s experience of the Bardo. COme to the show and together we witness her reflections on life event both pivotal, profound and those seemingly insignificant.
ABOUT DANCE DR.
Dance Dr. is a Sydney-based dance training and performance company for elite young dancers. The founding creative talent behind Dance Dr. is the beautiful Lucy Mary-Claire, Artistic Director and Chief Choreographer who, inspired by the visual and the dynamic element of dance, is motivated by the potential of expressing thought, mood, and form, through contemporary dance.
