Four important elements you need to be ready for license your art Part 2

What is  a Collection?

Focus on creating your art in stories and in a series. Sets of four are industry standard but you can have more. Fabric companies generally seek ranges of four to seven colour ways to form a collection.

What is Commerciality?

To be successful, your art needs to be commercial. Manufacturers generally seek to attract as wide an audience as possible in their niche. The more sold, the bigger your royalty cheque, so being commercial is critical to your success with licensing.
